Bloomsbury Residences Payment Scheme

Homes at Bloomsbury Residences are sold while the building goes up, on the normal progressive payment scheme: the price is paid in instalments as each stage of the works is certified, from the booking fee to the final payment at statutory completion.

Bloomsbury Residences Progressive Payment Stages

The stages and their percentages are fixed by the Housing Developers Rules. The last column gives the share of the price paid once each stage is reached.

Standard schedule for a building under construction under the Housing Developers Rules, checked 21 October 2026. Construction at Bloomsbury Residences is under way, so stages already certified on the day of booking fall due on the timetable in the sale and purchase agreement; the Sales Concierge confirms the stages reached for a particular home.

Cash, CPF and the Bank Loan at Bloomsbury Residences

The 5% booking fee is paid in cash. The rest of the buyer’s own share follows before the bank begins to lend, and MAS fixes how much of that share must be cash. A borrower with no other housing loan can borrow up to 75% of the price; of the 25% paid first, at least 5% has to be cash, which the booking fee covers, and the remaining 20% can come from cash or CPF Ordinary Account savings within CPF limits.

With a 75% loan, the booking fee and the 15% due at the sale and purchase agreement bring the buyer to 20% of the price; half of the foundation instalment completes the 25%, and the bank pays every certified stage after that. The housing loan page explains when the lower limits apply.

How the Loan Is Drawn at Bloomsbury Residences

As each stage is certified, the developer issues a progress notice and the bank pays that instalment. Interest is charged only on the amount drawn so far, so monthly repayments begin small and rise as construction advances.

Where some stages are certified by the time of booking, the instalments already due are paid on the timetable in the sale and purchase agreement, usually meaning a larger sum early on. The Sales Concierge sets out the position for the home you choose.

Stage by stage

Interest only on what is drawn.

Repayments start small and grow as each stage of the building is certified.

Bloomsbury Residences Completion and the Final Instalments

A 25% instalment falls due at the Temporary Occupation Permit and the final 15% at the Certificate of Statutory Completion. The developer’s e-brochure gives 7 February 2029 as the expected date of vacant possession and 7 February 2032 as the expected date of legal completion; the dates for any particular home are those in its sale and purchase agreement.

Stamp duty is paid separately and early, as the stamp duty page explains. The progressive payment calculator gives the amount and the estimated monthly instalment at each stage for a chosen price and loan.
